Gochnauer, Listi Named to Posts at Golden State Foods in Irvine

* Dick Gochnauer has been appointed vice chairman and president-international for Golden State Foods in Irvine, a supplier for McDonald’s restaurants. He has been with the company for six years, most recently as president and chief operating officer. Frank Listi has been named executive vice president in addition to his role as president of the liquid products group. He will now oversee the company’s beef operations. Scott Thomas has been named vice president of the distribution group. He has been with Golden State Foods for 16 years.

* Gregory S. Cygan becomes senior vice president of sales and service at Digital Transit, a Dana Point provider of software to manage updates to digital products over wired and wireless networks. He previously served as senior vice president of field operations for Edgate.com and vice president of national account programs for Toshiba America Information Systems.

* Norman Hajjar has joined the Irvine office of Young & Rubicam Inc. as senior vice president, Sony brand team leader for the Y&R; Advertising unit. He had been senior vice president, management director at Kovel/Fuller Advertising in Los Angeles. Before that, Hajjar was a founder of Hajjar & Partners in Marina del Rey. David Griffith has joined the company as senior vice president, director of creative planning. He had been planning director at TBWA/Chiat Day. In addition, Ed Gines is now vice president, associate creative director; Carolyn Clare was named vice president, director of creative operations; Dave Allen was promoted to senior vice president, senior account director for Sony, and Karen Tucker was appointed vice president, group media director of the Media Edge unit for the Sony account.
