GARDEN GROVE
Residents can save up to 25% on water bills by exchanging up to three of their old toilets for ultra-low-flush toilets from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Municipal Service Center. The free toilet exchange is sponsored by local water districts in an effort to conserve water. Each new toilet can save up to 10,000 gallons of water each year. Residents must bring to the center, at 13802 Newhope St., the measurement of the distance from the wall behind the toilet to its bolts, a current water bill and valid identification. Residents can return old toilets Feb. 12 or 26 to avoid being charged $100 for the new toilets. Information: (714) 741-5398.
