ABIDJAN, Ivory Coast —
Divers retrieved the flight data recorder Friday of the Kenya Airways jet that crashed into the Atlantic on Sunday with 179 people aboard. Ten people survived. The other “black box,” the cockpit voice recorder, has yet to be located.
The device--from Flight 431, which was bound for Lagos, Nigeria--was found in about 150 feet of water nearly two miles offshore.
Only 86 bodies have been recovered from the wreckage.
