The Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau will hold a governmental affairs breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at P.J.’s Abbey, 182 S. Orange St. Several speakers will talk for and against Proposition 26 and Measure F.

Proposition 26, the “Let’s Fix Our Schools” initiative, would require a simple majority, rather than a two-thirds vote, to approve local school bonds.

Measure F, the Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative, would require a two-thirds vote in a county general election in order to build or expand jails near homes, build hazardous-waste landfills or civilian airports.
