Bush Tax Cuts

Re “Wish List Budget,” editorial, Feb. 8: George W. Bush would like to “give away” money in tax cuts? I was not aware that the amelioration of confiscation could be defined as a giveaway. You, believing that the government has first call on every dollar we earn, are so aware. This puts you in the camp of such noted economists as Fidel Castro.

If a mugger sticks a gun in my face, takes my wallet and returns $10 to me is that, too, a giveaway?
