Interscience Computer Resolves Patent Dispute

Interscience Computer Corp. announced that it has resolved all disputes with OCE Printing Systems, USA Inc. and OCE GmbH.

The claims involved a dispute over the company’s fusing agent patent and the company’s allegations that OCE & others violated U.S. antitrust laws, which damaged Interscience.

Under the settlement, Agoura Hills-based Interscience will retain all rights to its fusing agent patent, and all lawsuits pending between Interscience and OCE will be dismissed. Interscience has also received $950,000 from OCE, and both sides have released all claims against each other.

Interscience retains all rights against Siemens Corp. for any acts by Siemens prior to April 1, 1996, that affected Interscience.

Interscience supplies a fusing agent to the high-speed printing industry.
