After 15 games, they’ve taken half of Washington’s shots from the floor, with Holdsclaw averaging 18.2 points and McCray 16.7, including 41% from beyond the three-point arc. Los Angeles’ U.S. Olympians, Lisa Leslie and DeLisha Milton, are producing 16.7 and 10.2 points a game, respectively. The Sparks’ win over Washington on June 26 came amid Mystic turmoil, after Holdsclaw had blasted Coach Nancy Darsch, saying the Mystics “would never be great” with Darsch.
