Seminar Will Examine Changes in Mexico

Share

As Mexico prepares for its first transition of presidential and congressional power in more than 70 years, U.S. companies with business interests there have begun to wonder how the new administration and a raft of new lawmakers from the National Action Party will affect the business climate south of the border. That topic is expected to be high on the list of issues raised at a four-day seminar on doing business in Latin America that starts Monday at USC. It is sponsored by USC’s IBEAR Executive Programs. Faculty and U.S. and Latin American business leaders also are expected to look at the current business climate in Brazil and the countries in the Mercosur trading bloc of South America.
