“I had a great wine with dinner last night; it was fantastic. It was a 1994 Allegrini ‘La Poja.’ It’s a vino da tavola, made from the Corvina grape--100%. It’s very rich and very elegant, and at the same time not too tannic. It was just the most harmonious wine with a lot of persistence. I had it with miso-infused black cod.”
