PLACENTIA
The city has begun its search for an economic development director, a position created last month to help bring businesses and prosperity to Placentia.
The director will be responsible for promoting Placentia to businesses and employers, and would create a plan to redevelop blighted portions of the city.
“This person would be the quarterback for our economic development activities,” said Councilman Chris Lowe, who pushed for the position.
