Offering a Vision of Neighborhood Greenbelts

I loved the article this morning on the buying of adjacent lots to increase garden space! (“Want Room to Grow? Buy the Lot Next Door,” July 13). This is a great idea also for cities or counties owning lots that may not be suitable for development . . . and that the agency doesn’t intend to use for park areas. Rather than keeping them vacant, they could offer the lots to gardening-enthusiast owner-occupied neighbors!
