* Disney Consumer Products, Burbank, announced two new appointments. Ronald Wagenseil will be vice president of global sales. He will oversee sales planning, management and operations for the apparel business at the division. Selma Taygan has joined the company as vice president and general manager, apparel, North America. She will manage business and help develop strategy for the apparel and accessories division in North America.
* Warner Bros. Pictures, Burbank, announced three additions to the staff of its creative advertising agency, the Idea Place: Josh Lam, mechanical artist, will be responsible for the production of digital mechanical art and layouts for film release campaigns, corporate ads and will contribute to print advertising. Jeff Wadley, junior art director, will generate, develop and create pitch materials for promotional partners and will oversee promotional campaigns. Sound engineer Craig Roberts will be responsible for post production audio on all TV spots, as well as sound, music narration and effects for TV, motion picture, and corporate product reels.
* Leora Goren has been promoted to executive vice president, human resources, Countrywide Home Loans Inc., Calabasas. Goren will oversee all functions and programs within the department.
Countrywide finances single family homes through offices nationwide and online. The company is a subsidiary of Countrywide Credit Industries.
