25 Killed as Plane Crashes in Rain

A twin-engine Royal Nepal Airlines plane crashed minutes before its scheduled landing in western Nepal, killing all 25 people on board, police said. The bodies of 22 passengers and three crew members, all Nepalese, were recovered from the wreckage near Jogbudha, a village in Dadeldhura district, officials said. The Canadian-built Twin Otter plane was on a 25-minute flight from Bajang to Dhangadhi, about 300 miles west of the capital, Katmandu, when it crashed in bad weather and rain, officials said.
