If they beat the Comets, they will sweep the three-game regular-season series. Coach Michael Cooper’s defenders will seek to shut down at least one of Houston’s big three. Sheryl Swoopes, Cynthia Cooper and Tina Thompson provide most of the Comets’ offense, averaging a combined 55 points. The Sparks are working on a seven-game winning streak.
