Juror Forms
* A July 12 letter on juror forms about a 92-year-old potential juror illustrates the stupidity of these forms! I received a notice for jury duty for my wife, who has been deceased for almost two years.
As per their instructions I had to send a copy of the death certificate, which took a great deal of time and expense. I asked them to reimburse me for the cost of the certificate, but I’ve had no reply.
Was I legally obligated to supply the death certificate or should I have just referred them to the cemetery where she is buried?
