Boston Port Official Resigns in Sex Scandal
Another embarrassing sex scandal struck Massport, operator of Logan Airport, when the deputy director of security was forced to resign, a newspaper reported Thursday.
William Jaillet, 58, the Massport No. 2 security official, quit after an internal probe turned up instances of sexual harassment, the Boston Herald said.
In August 1999, then-Executive Director Peter Blute was fired after participating in a publicly funded Boston Harbor booze cruise with a Republican lobbyist and several scantily clad women.
Jaillet could not be reached for comment.
