Soulforce

One can only admire members of Soulforce for their courage to face arrest in witness to Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists and others regarding their hypocritical stance on civil rights (June 26). The churches cannot endorse equal rights in hiring while discriminating against gays and lesbians in their own ranks. Another sad case of “do as I say, not as I do.” And they wonder why church attendance is shrinking? Get a clue.
