Eckstaedt, Carroll Named to Posts at Sage

James R. Eckstaedt has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Sage Software Inc. in Irvine. Before joining the company in 1997, Eckstaedt was senior vice president and chief financial officer at the Cerplex Group Inc. He also spent 10 years with Western Digital Corp. in a variety of management positions, including vice president of finance and corporate treasurer. In addition, John W. Carroll has joined Sage as director of e-business. Carroll had been with Ingram Micro Inc., where he led the business-to-business e-commerce RosettaNet implementation. Before that he worked with Geac Computer Corp. and the state of North Dakota.

* Michael Zorehkey has been named director of mall development for Gloria Jean’s Gourmet Coffee, a division of Diedrich Coffee Inc. in Irvine. Zorehkey joined the company from Edison Brothers Stores Inc., where he was vice president of real estate.

* Barbara Raye has been appointed vice president of finance for the Roxburgh Agency Inc. in Costa Mesa. She had been director of finance and administration since joining the firm in 1998.

* Jon Engleking has been appointed president of E-Commerce Exchange in Irvine. He will continue as chief operating officer. Engleking has been with the company since 1993, holding various positions including sales manager, vice president of sales and executive vice president.

* Carl W. Neun and Safi U. Qureshey have joined the board of directors of Powerwave Technologies Inc. in Irvine. Neun is currently chairman of Wirex Communications Inc. and former chief financial officer of Tektronix. Qureshey is the former chief executive and chairman of AST Research. He is now involved with several start-up technology companies as an advisor, board member and seed investor.

* Carrie Stevenson has joined Sexton Companies in Newport Beach as director of documentation, collections and asset manage- ment. She was formerly a fund control manager for an escrow holding company in Santa Ana.
