Bloomsbury Boo-Boos

In last Saturday’s letters, Nancy Wright of Pasadena pointed to William Wilson’s review of “The Art of Bloomsbury,” saying it “contains one factual error,” which she corrected. Actually, it contained two.

Vanessa Bell and Clive Bell had two sons, not daughters, as Wilson wrote. Son Julian lost his life fighting for Loyalist Spain. Quentin lived to write a highly regarded biography of Vanessa’s sister, Virginia Woolf.

I thought I was the only Bloomsbury fan (collector and nut?) who would notice. Hi, Nancy Wright!
