LAGUNA NIGUEL

The city will present its Citizen of the Year Award on April 29 to a resident who has displayed exceptional volunteerism in an efforts to make the city a better place to live. The entry deadline was March 24.

The winner will be announced during a volunteer appreciation dinner April 29. The recipient gets a plaque, a city resolution, a free night at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Dana Point and a ride in the December Holiday Parade.
