RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA
Councilwoman Carol Gamble was recognized by the California State Assembly on Monday as a Woman of the Year.
Assemblyman Bill Campbell (R-Villa Park) nominated Gamble as Assembly District 71 Woman of the Year for her work on the cityhood drive in Rancho Santa Margarita. The community became the county’s 33rd city last November.
