What’s the sound of one hand clapping? Certainly not what you hear whenever Zen country crooner Jimmie Dale Gilmore comes to town. His latest album, “One Endless Night,” finds the Texas songwriter’s songwriter paying tribute to many of the writers he most admires. Songs by Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Butch Hancock, John Hiatt and others are mixed liberally with a couple of his new tunes tapping the yin and yang of life with the earthy grace that only a Lone Star State-bred ascetic could conjure.
