Mahony on ‘Choice’

* Re “ ‘Choosing’ Not to Say What They Mean,” Commentary, May 18:

I, too, believe that abortion is inherently evil. I also believe that not allowing Catholics worldwide the choice to choose birth control constitutes an inherent evil that Cardinal Roger Mahony and the Catholic Church choose to ignore.
