CYPRESS
In return for 12,026 hours of service to the community, some 185 senior volunteers were recently feted at a dinner-dance hosted by the Cypress Senior Center.
The volunteers logged the hours between May 1999 and April 2000.
Some of the participants have contributed their time to the community through the senior center’s team since 1978; others have recently gotten the volunteering bug.
