Executives at 3 Businesses Are Finalists for Award

Executives at three Ventura County businesses are finalists in the Year 2000 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Winners will be announced June 29 at Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.

The Ventura County finalists are Ronald T. Burr, president of NetZero in Westlake Village; Leonard D. Schaeffer, chairman and CEO of Wellpoint Health Networks in Thousand Oaks, and, from Sandpiper Networks in Thousand Oaks, Leo S. Spiegel, chairman, president and CEO; Andrew Swart, founder and vice president of engineering, and David Farber, founder and chief technology officer.

Winners will be eligible for several national awards, including the National Entrepreneur of the Year honor.
