Nicaraguan Mission Aims to Bolster Trade
The Nicaraguan American Chamber of Commerce of California is hosting a trade mission to Nicaragua between Nov. 15 and Nov. 24 that builds in part on a recently established relationship between the Port of Long Beach and the Nicaraguan Port of Corinto.
So far, 17 businesses have signed up to participate in the mission, representing the maquiladora (foreign-owned manufacturing facilities in Mexico), transportation, airline, technology, real estate, insurance and banking industries, as well as other potential investors.
