Three Cheers for Chris Koontz

* I have tremendous respect and admiration for Christopher Koontz. He is the son every parent hopes and prays for--bright, passionate, caring, sensible, well-balanced, courageous and intelligent. Chris has a wonderful vision and truly sees the “big picture.” He is not intimidated by those who have tried to repress, criticize or silence him.

Too often in today’s world our society focuses on the negative aspects of the younger generation. Chris provides us with shining examples of positive attributes we should be proud of. He is a leader of the upcoming generation and gives great hope for the future.

To know and do nothing is not to know. I am proud of Chris--he gets it!

* Kudos to Christopher Koontz! It is refreshing to see a young person take a stand and do something for which he believes in. Too many of our young adults complain and do nothing. This young gentleman made time through his busy schedule and has done an impressive job. I hope that he will make a difference and inspire more people to do the same. So many people believe that they are one little person against the “big guy” developers. Someone has to stand up and say, “Enough!” So much of our open space is being consumed by development dollars, and if everyone has an apathetic point of view, there will be no stopping them.
