Race Will Benefit Boys & Girls Club

The Fillmore-Piru Boys & Girls Club will hold its Christmas Fun Race fund-raiser for walkers and runners Saturday.

Participants can choose a 10K or 5K course, both of which will meander through orange groves and along a stream. Both are flat except for one long hill, officials said. The club will also raffle off homemade baked goods. Proceeds will be used to buy new equipment, club officials said.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m. at the club at 565 1st St., and registration is $20.
