Teaching Alternatives

* We hear of some who would teach Biblical creationism as an equal alternative to science-based evolution. Perhaps they do not go far enough.

Perhaps astrology should be taught as an equal alternative to astronomy?

Perhaps the wrath of a deity should be taught as an equal alternative to plate tectonics or climatology?

Perhaps 4004 B.C. as the beginning of the created world should be taught as an equal alternative to the timelines in geology?

Perhaps the superiority of a chosen race should be taught as an equal alternative to anthropology?

Perhaps revenge should be taught as an equal alternative to problem solving?

If the answers to these questions are yes, then we need to stop teaching, close the schools and preach Biblical dogma instead. The heroic efforts of thousands of courageous thinkers from Galileo to Darwin to Einstein to Watson and Crick will have then been made in vain.
