Nominations Sought for Apple Awards
The Camarillo Health Care District is accepting nominations for its 2001 Apple of Excellence Awards now through Friday.
Founded five years ago, the annual awards recognize health care professionals in Camarillo who have gone out of their way to help others, said district spokeswoman Kara Partridge.
“Nominations can be made by anyone who feels their life, or the life of others, has been enhanced or changed by a health care professional,” she said.
The categories include physician, dentist, optometrist or podiatrist; psychologist or licensed clinical social worker; and registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
Nomination forms are available at the health district office, 3639 E. Las Posas Road, Suite 117, Camarillo.
