I2, BroadVision in Pact

I2 Technologies Inc. and BroadVision Inc., makers of electronic commerce software, said they will team to develop a package of programs that makes it easier and cheaper for companies to do business on the Internet. Shares of BroadVision, whose software lets customers tailor content on Web sites, jumped $3.81, or 21%, to close at $21.94 on Nasdaq. I2, whose products help companies build online marketplaces, rose $11.88 to close at $173, also on Nasdaq. Both companies will sell the packages of software, which will be available by the end of the year.
