U.S. Soldier Dies of Gunshot Wound

An American soldier who was in Kuwait for routine training has died of a gunshot wound, the U.S. Embassy said without further explanation. It identified the victim as Staff Sgt. Mark A. Klein, 30, a scout section leader and a member of Task Force 270 from Ft. Riley, Kan. The embassy said Klein died Tuesday and that the Army was investigating.
