Ethentica CEO Adds President to Title

Doug Antone, who joined Lake Forest-based Ethentica in December as chief executive, assumes the additional role of president. He was formerly division president at Ingram Micro Inc. Alex Dickinson remains executive chairman. Mark O’Hare, previously president and general manager of Ethentica’s E-services division, becomes chief operating officer. In addition, Mike Walthall joined the company as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Walthall had been vice president and chief financial officer at Geneva Funding Corp. James R. Anderson is the new senior vice president of sales. He last served as the national director for Ernst & Young’s new-product development service. Brian Berger was named senior vice president of business development. He had been vice president and general manager of the products division. John Golden assumes the role of senior vice president of operations. Golden was previously general manager of the computing and telecommunications division of the U.S. Postal Service. Grant Johnson was named senior vice president of marketing. He was previously at AST Computer, Symantec Software, Toshiba Computer Systems and Epson.

* John M. Hollenbeck has been named executive vice president of First American Corp. in Santa Ana, overseeing the company’s technology initiatives. Hollenbeck, who has been with First American for 20 years, most recently served as national title processes director.

* Daniel Levitt has been elected to the board of directors of Nexell Therapeutics Inc. in Irvine. He is presidentof research and development for Protein Design Labs Inc.

* Mel R. Brashears has been named chairman and chief executive of Costa Mesa-based Irvine Sensors Corp.’s new subsidiary, INetworks Corp. He is the former president and chief operating officer of a Lockheed Martin sector.

* Scott Browning has been selected to head the new Orange County office of MyCFO Inc. in Irvine. Browning joined the company from Deloitte & Touche, where he was partner in charge of the financial counseling services group for the Western region.

* Allan Cornia has joined Thomas P. Cox: Architects in Irvine as senior design architect. He previously held positions with Shill-Judd-Richards-Johnson, MCG Architecture, AJC Architecture and Architects Orange. Jirair Garabedian was named project designer/project manager. Before joining the firm, he was with Jax Kneppers Associates, McLaughlin Associates, Architects and CHCG Architects, where his focus was in project design and management.

* Steve Cady has been appointed vice president, national accounts sales for California Scents, a manufacturer of air freshener products in Irvine. He had been national sales manager, specialty, for two years.

* Rory O’Neal has been appointed general manager of California Cafe Bar & Grill’s new restaurant at the Shops at Mission Viejo. The restaurant is scheduled to open next month. O’Neal previously served as general manager for Crocodile Cafe and Carver’s Steaks & Chops, both in San Diego.

* John D. Panian has been named president of Santa Ana-based Troy Group Inc.’s new financial services group. Panian was previously vice president, money movement, with Automatic Data Processing Inc. Before that, he was founder and president of E-Commerce Solutions.

* Donald Huey has been appointed customer service manager for ITT Industries, Cannon division in Santa Ana. He was formerly director of customer service for Hill Corp.

* Joe Inge has been elected 2000-01 president of the Assn. for Corporate Growth, Orange County chapter. He is senior vice president of Marsh Risk & Insurance Services.
