Mellon 1st Names South Bay VP

* Orange County banking executive Donald Solsby has joined Mellon 1st Business Bank as South Bay regional vice president. Mellon 1st is part of Los Angeles-based Mellon West, which is a division of global financial services firm Mellon Financial Corp.

* Benjamin Levin has been named principal in charge of interior design at WWCOT, a Santa Monica-based architecture and interiors firm. Levin had been director of interiors at Johnson Fain and Pereira Associates.

* Bank of America has announced several customer service appointments for its Southern California region. Kevin Malson has been named consumer region executive, responsible for managing the bank’s consumer operations in the Pomona Valley. Aurora Mariscal has been named consumer region exec for Pasadena and East Los Angeles. D. Fred Johnston will serve as consumer region executive for the Westside, which covers a region from Malibu to Manhattan Beach. Donna Beauchamp was tapped as consumer region executive for the Glendale and Burbank area. Scott Witter will serve as consumer region executive for North-Central Los Angeles, which covers Hollywood, Beverly Hills and downtown. He replaces Maria Mesa, who was promoted to commercial market executive for East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley.
