San Francisco-based Red Gorilla shut down its Web site, fired all of its employees and turned over its customers to another corporate software provider, the company’s chief executive said. Red Gorilla, a privately held company founded last year, manages Web-based and wireless applications such as its time-tracking and expense application, Gorilla Time. The company’s customers include Adobe Systems, AdForce and NBCi’s AllBusiness.com. San Diego-based Officetool, which operates a similar business, will run Red Gorilla’s site.
