USA Biomass Appoints New President, CEO

* USA Biomass Corp. has appointed Lance B. Jones president and chief executive. He succeeds Fred Behrens, former chairman and CEO, who has resigned from the company for personal reasons. Jones is the president of Lance B. Jones & Associates, environmental consultants. Bell Gardens-based USA Biomass recently converted from an agricultural/real estate development enterprise to an Beverly Macy environmental and waste recycling company.

Sales and marketing executive Beverly Macy has joined Fandom Inc. as chief marketing officer. Santa Monica-based Fandom is an Internet-based media company.

Benjamin Levin has been named principal in charge of interior design at WWCOT, a Santa Monica-based architecture and interiors firm. Levin had been director of interiors at Johnson Fain and Pereira Associates.

Elizabeth Brooks has joined ICast Music, the music channel of online entertainment company ICast, as senior vice president of artist development and marketing. Brooks, who will be based in ICast’s Los Angeles and New York offices, is a former vice president of marketing at Napster.
