Children can decorate wall tiles as part of a fund-raiser to buy more children’s books for the Main Library. The event will be Nov. 4 at El Modena Library, but the finished tiles will hang in the Kid Zone area of the Main Library. The 8-by-8-inch tiles will be sold for $65.

Tile painting will begin at 10 a.m. in the library’s community room, 380 S. Hewes St. Tiles must be purchased in advance.
