Nearly two dozen adults stormed a T-ball field and began brawling over an umpire’s call as the 4- and 5-year-old players watched.

Two coaches were suspended, and police are considering arrests.

A home video taken during a Miami Friends Baseball Assn. T-ball game Tuesday shows at least 20 men charging the field, throwing wild punches and shoving and tackling one another. No one was seriously injured, and no children participated in the fight.

Witnesses were being interviewed and charges could result, said Miami-Dade County Police Det. Nelda Fonticiella.

League officials did not return calls for comment Friday.

Ralph Sanchez, the league’s commissioner, said one team’s manager and the other team’s coach were suspended.

National youth sports associations say they receive reports weekly about fights or abusive conduct involving parents or coaches.

In July, a Massachusetts youth hockey referee died following a fight with a player’s father, who has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter. About a week later, a Hollywood, Fla., Police Athletic League baseball coach was charged with assault after an umpire’s jaw was broken during an argument.
