Aspeon Sells Computers to Restaurant Franchisee

Aspeon Inc. said Thursday that the largest franchisee of Waffle House restaurants awarded it a $1.1-million contract to buy its modular touch-screen, point-of-sale computers for more than 150 restaurants.
Aspeon, which is based in Irvine, said in a press release that the contract with Northlake Foods Inc. in Tampa, Fla., runs for a year. Northlake is a franchisee with more than 150 Waffle House restaurants.
