Seminar Offered on Financing Home

First-time homeowners can learn about financing Thursday in a step-by-step course on home buying offered by the Area Housing Authority, Simi Valley and Ventura County.

Pacific Partners Mortgage Corp. will highlight two programs aimed at making home ownership a reality--down payment assistance and a federal tax reduction that helps buyers qualify for more money.

The course, which will discuss loan programs available to first-time homeowners, runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.

The course is free, but reservations are required.
