Videotape Sought in Rape Investigation
From Times Wire Reports
A sheriff’s department says a videotape broadcast by a Houston TV station could help it investigate a woman’s alleged rape during spring break. Mike Devlin, news director of KHOU-TV, said the 18-year-old woman’s parents had confirmed that she was on the tape.
A Galveston County sheriff’s official said the department is seeking a subpoena to force the station to turn over the tape.
The video showed her holding a bikini top out of the car window before a group of men surrounded her car on a beach.
