Surgery a Success for Twins Joined at Head

Doctors at Singapore General Hospital successfully separated 11-month-old Nepalese twins Jamuna and Ganga Shrestha, who were born joined at the head.
Jamuna--the more bashful sister--was wheeled out wearing a tiny surgical cap after the operation.
The surgery for the other sister, Ganga, took longer because she needed more “complex reconstruction,” physician Keith Goh said.
