Students, Police Clash for a Second Day
From Times Wire Reports
Thousands of students clashed with police in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, in a second day of rioting that has reportedly left two dead and dozens more injured.
Gunfire rang out in the city center as students threw stones at state-owned buildings, blocked roads and stoned and burned vehicles to protest police brutality and demand political and academic freedom.
Hospital sources said one student was killed and that another died Tuesday.
