* The El Rio gymnasium complex is finally open. It marks a major milestone for our community.
More than 10 years ago Supervisor John Flynn promised us a gym and now we have it. Others helped but Flynn did the lion’s share of the work. That is why it is appropriate that we in El Rio, Strickland Acres and Nyeland Acres publicly recognize him by naming the medical clinic he is bringing to our community after him.
