Woman Pinned by Car Survives; Fetus Dies

A woman lost her 8-month-old fetus when she was thrown from her boyfriend’s car and pinned beneath it. The woman was in critical condition, hospital officials said.
Craig Corbett, 20, lost control of the car while rounding a curve. It overturned and struck two fences and a tree, police said. His girlfriend, Jill Baum, 20, was thrown from the car, which then landed upside down on her legs.
Passersby were able to roll the overturned car off Baum.
No other details about Baum’s condition were released.
Investigators had not decided whether charges will be filed.
