From Times Wire Reports

A $728,000 London flat is on the market with a macabre selling point: It comes complete with the dead owner’s ashes in a stone urn on the mantle.

The unnamed pensioner loved his two-bedroom flat so much that he inserted a clause in his will that made it his final resting place, Britain’s top-selling Sun tabloid reported today.

“I have to tell people before they go to view the flat. Luckily most just laugh,” estate agent James Bailey was quoted as saying.

“The man was apparently a bit of a character. He wanted his ashes kept there as a reminder of happy days at home.”
