Los Angeles Wins Maccabiah Gold Medal

Gabe Cohen had three hits and three runs batted in as a Los Angeles team defeated Detroit, 9-3, to win the gold medal in the 13-and 14-year-olds’ division at the Maccabiah Games on Thursday in Monmouth, N.J.

The team represented the West Valley Jewish Community Center in West Hills.
