Shuttle Chases Station for Linkup, Staff Change
Space shuttle Endeavour chased after the international space station, carrying three men who will move into the orbiting outpost this weekend for a six-month stay.
“Miss you guys already,” astronaut Daniel Bursch radioed to his four children, just one day into what should be a 159-day mission. He will not be back on Earth until May.
The shuttle is due to arrive at the space station this afternoon. Bursch, Carl Walz and Yuri Onufrienko will swap places the next day with the three men who have been living aboard the 250-mile-high complex since August.
