From Times Wire Reports

The U.S. State Department called on India to share with Pakistan any evidence it may have in last week’s terrorist action at the Indian Parliament.

India has said two Pakistan-based groups are responsible for the incident. Thirteen people were killed in the suicide attack, including the five assailants. India says all five attackers were Pakistanis. Pakistan denies the charge.

State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said any evidence that India can provide to Pakistan would provide a better basis for Pakistan to pursue the terrorists.

Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee said his government is discussing war, as well as diplomacy, as a response to the attack.
