Connecticut Star Lost for the Season

Svetlana Abrosimova, third-ranked Connecticut’s All-American forward, will sit out the rest of her senior season because of a torn ligament in her left foot. Abrosimova, injured while rebounding in last week’s loss to No. 2 Tennessee, was initially diagnosed with a sprain.
